I'm up for it!!

Hello,

I live in Reading and am up for a meet most of the time.

I have tried to get something going on VVOC.com, but the south central crowd are a bit slow on the uptake.

Perhaps we could arrange something here that is (almost) central for us all and travel to it?

TBH most car clubs have the same problem, its actually getting people to get off their backsides and do something!

In my experience the only events that get really good attendance are PVS and the VBOA Rally.

You find that North west people are usually up for a meet but then on the other scale the East Anglians are not!

Its just the luck of the drawer really!

im not supprised tho" when you turn up in your cars just meeting up from a forum like this etc you get all the boy racers wheelspining etc and killing off the meeting scene!

Perhaps we should arrange a meet and call it the "old F*rts" meet or something to deter the boy racers Smile

Thats why I keep most of my meets just for club members so that I know who they are and where they live in case of problems.

Are you guys planning to evolve into a club?

TBH I wish you guys luck if you do decide to evolve into a club but there is an awful lot out there already so you would have to offer something that they don't, which is difficult! Believe me I try every day!

club meets.............Sounds a good idea if you can pull it off!
if you dont mind aranging stuff and your well organised it could be awesome,

ideas such as:
* Bowling
* Karting
ect.....
